Exhibition
After delved in Italo Calvino’s reading for 10 sessions over 10 months, Booku has decided to put together fruits of our reading, discourse and recreation in an exhibition held in our book space.
Utterly grateful for all our followers and bookers that has join and contribute on all our reading sessions, some reading sessions are exceptionally successful where the seed of reading has spark up more ideas of re-creating the creation.

From the reading sessions, idea of "what next" emerged and some participants started to think about the possibility of re-creation from reading.
Inspired from the interesting works by Italo Calvino, our readers expressing their creativity in various media such as illustration, doodle, art installation, writing, video, model making and photography.
The exhibition served as a platform for these talented readers to explore with their ideas.

Through the exhibition, it's a great opportunity to introduce the author and his literature creation to the public. This allows the public to develop interests in the author's work, and perhaps start to read.
Besides, the exhibit of artworks inspired by re-creation also encourage the visitors to rethink about the infinity possibility of reading.
[人] 與互动 | Interaction
"Tracing Italo Calvino" unexpectedly becomes a platform for interaction and communication between Booku, the neighborhoods and public from different professions.
Through the guided tour during the exhibition, visitors get to learn more about the exhibits and ideas behind all the artworks. Sharing, exchanging of ideas, open discussion and conversations are much welcome between visitors about various idea regarding any related or even unrelated topic about reading and arts.
跨界 [合作] | Collaboration
Besides collaborating with few artists in the production of artworks for the exhibition, Booku also attempts in collaborate with friends from food industry. Hand-made coffee and cake are served during certain time of the exhibition to explore the possibilities of in-cooperating food sensation in an exhibition.
Other than that, visitors began to discuss and share the possibility of future collaboration and new ideas that can be experiment on.
